Suffering from mixed opinions by netizens is something that any idol has to go through while working in the Kpop industry. Unfortunately, besides idols who don't put their mind to that, there are some who are said to care too much about others’ opinions that they eventually become brainwashed and spoiled, adapting to changes that only made them a worse version of themselves.

Mark’s “controversy” should be renamed nctzens being spoiled, if you cared about Marks health you wouldnt be complaining about him missing a show in his birthday, he was upset enough for preparing for weeks for the show and ended up not being able to perform.
He litteraly has so many schedules, he is overworked, and just because he missed one show you guys completely forget about all the shows/performances/comebacks he did??
They are the spoiled af

"stealing the spotlight?" The IG LIVE WAS ON MARK'S BIRTHDAY. It was something that fans (who didn't have the luxury of being at the fanmeeting in Japan) were very much looking forward to. Also, markfs were worried about Mark testing positive for C-19 and that's why he tried to reassure everyone that he was negative and recovering

Of course netizens are the one to blame, especially in Yuna, Wonyoung and Winter's controversies. I just hope if there was a way that prevents every idol to find out about any sort of opinions on social media bc once they see the toxic criticism, they would of course want to reach whatever people's high expectations are, at the end they are humans, just like us

Mark has been through it y’all. That live was on his birthday. Before getting up and arms, breathe, and wait for an explanation. These artists are human beings.

I only agree with some things you said about Wonyoung, it’s obvious she’s underweight and needs help🤷🏾‍♀️But body shaming her (and Yuna) calling them skeletons and saying their bones are going to break any second isn’t okay.

Mark was all alone on his birthday. Can you imagine how sad that is? Mark Lee is probably one of the most hardworking and equally talented idols out there.
He can sing, rap, dance, write, is such a sweetheart, known to be the idol whom no one can hate and this is what he gets?

Netizens wanted the idols to lose weight, then when they actually do, they call them out to be spoiled. THIS IS LITERALLY JEKYLL AND HYDE ARE YOU KIDDING ME

Winter has always been petite, I never noticed any weight loss. She looks the same from debut until now.

"Wonyoung looked like she was in the edge of breaking bones" "Walking skeleton" it baffles me how someone can say such statement
The way they are body shaming her and yuna in this video is insane

Idk about the guy Mark but the problem mentioned here is just stupid.
Now mark will be thinking ''oh so the reason idols are not honest with their feelings is cuz of this'' and he will decide to be a filtered idol too

Idols being honest is cool but also idols being honest is rude. wtf double standards

Japanese fans pls keep the respect we have for yall about not being toxic and just stop hating Mark for being human.

For Yuna’s hip pads, you can clearly see she is also uncomfortable with them. She constantly touches them and seems to want them gone. To be honest I think the staff are the ones too obsessed with making her have the perfect body.

I never thought Winter lost weight. It seem more like she gained more than lost. She still skinny, but now her hips look a bit fuller than before and she has more muscle. You can see it in her recents fancams and the ones in her debut. I am well aware she goes on a diet, but at this point I am not even surprised. This is pretty commun to see in kpop. And until people stop complaining when an idol lose or gain a little bit of weight, we shouldn't blame any idols of trying to live up to beauty standards. It either that or they get bully online.

As for Marc "scandal", this is the prove y'all want to control idols action and words. They're not robots. Y'all shouldn't except them to know or do everything y'all believe they should know. And the fact the man had to apologize for being sick in his birthday is pretty fuck up. As long an idol can entertain, perfom and not do something criminal/mean, we shouldn't care about anything they say or do.

Wonyoung happened because "fans" keep on telling her to lose more. She is barely 18 and already has a big problem that could be fatal because people still say to her to lose more.

I can't blame Winter, y'all did this to her with the dumb "beauty" standard.

Of course the netizens are to blame. We have voices but no faces, and we would be silent if a spotlight was shown on us. No, these idols have so much pressure on them, specifically Kpop idols because they are expected to be perfect. As an NCTzen, I support Mark full heartedly. Mark isn't perfect, he's a young man who is still growing and learning. We are so lucky to have an idol as talented and genuine as him. 💚💚
