I did find it odd that Nyx and Null have the same origin, making people ask who came first. I think Null came first as the sentient form of the universe's darkness. Then once the celestial started seeding life, then the gods came into being and Nyx became the Goddess of darkness.

So, in the Greek mythology, Nyx was daughter of the Chaos, the one that ever was. She was the mother of several deities, including Hypnos, Thanatos and Kharon (yes, the old man on the boat).
In one story, Hypnos made Zeus pissed (don't remember why) and he went to ask for Nyx's protection. Zeus gave up any punishment he wanted to give to Hypnos, because he dreaded the power of Nyx.
So this representation in Marvel comics in term of power is exact.

Once they are done making another 3-4 "first beings before the light" they should just have a battle royale between all of the same beings with different faces to determine who really was the first lmao. That or somehow tie them all together as individual facets of a greater dark being (probably gonna happen eventually tbh) to clean up the lore a bit. I mean, it's never been perfect or ideal, usually messy, but

The Nyx, Knull, and Chaos King thing has confused me for years. Did all three just exist at once, or are all three aspects of the same being (i.e., Oblivion, since we know Chaos King is an aspect/avatar of him)?

Also, Nyx the protogenoi (primordial deity) of Night/Darkness is the wife/female counterpart of Erebus the protogenoi (primordial deity) of Darkness. Since primordials like Gaia/Gaea are basically in all of the pantheons, just under a different name relevant to the culture, then could Chaos King or Knull be Erebus?

Lastly, we know that a Fear Lord called Nox exists. Nox (Night) is the Roman name of Nyx (Night), and the comics even referenced Nox's Greco-Roman myths/origins. In Marvel, there is no distinction or separation in Greek gods from the Roman ones (excluding Janus), Hades=Pluto (prefers his Roman name Pluto), Apphrodite=Venus (she also gave her Roman name to her niece, a sea nymph), Mercury=Hermes, Herakles=Hercules (but prefers his Roman name over his true Greek name), and so on. So is Nyx the one exception who is a separate individual from her Roman counterpart? Because as far as I know Nox has not been retconned as a Fear Lord. Or was the Nox we've seen before a fraud? Or is this another case of editorial forgetting the other character existed, so now two conflicting versions of the same character until they're inevitably merged / retconned the back into one?

You really could do alot with Nyxx. Personally I'm surprised Edwing hasn't done anything with her since.
