I wish when the leaders countries that have a problem with another country should take both presidents of each country fight it out amongst themselves whoever wins the war is over but never started peace on Earth. Historically Ukraine has always been part of Russia, much of Ukraine's territory today was gifted by Russian Empire / USSR. Ukraine origin share same history / culture as Russia. A lot of Russians/ Ukrainians share same family. East / South Ukraine (where the war is) is majority ethnic Russians who do not want to be part of the current Ukrainian regime and want independence. NATO expanded to Russian border which is #1 security threat for Russia. Russia did NOT expand to NATO boarder, NATO expanded to Russia. Putin wanted Ukraine to remain neutral but Zelensky pushed for NATO. Peace talks took place, but UK / US blocked them. The more US lead NATO funds Ukraine the longer the war will drag out. This war would not be happening if US did not use Ukraine and EU NATO members like their geopolitical pawns.
