Great light/medium-duty lock.
I bought this lock for use at the gym, and I'm quite happy with my purchase. After looking through a bunch of the cheaper options, I opted for this one for the most important reason: it's the prettiest. Yes, people, after determining that reviews mean almost nothing as long as they don't say "THIS LOCK DOESN'T LOCK", I decided to go with the best looking lock, and this one is it.

The operation is smooth, much easier to use than a dial-type lock, switching the combination is a breeze, and you don't have to worry about losing a key or having a keyhole picked. Is it more/less secure? Honestly, if that's such a HUGE concern for you, I've got news for you: if you're spending less than ten bucks for a lock and expect Alcatraz-level lockdown, you deserve to have yourself stolen. Frankly, for any lock in this price range, if a crook really wants your stuff, he's going to get it. One lock isn't going to be much more effective than another against a well-directed blow from a hammer or a nice bolt-cutter.
