I wish I would have recorded all of the steps to remove the timing cover off and all the components. One part of the timing project that's very important is making sure that you line up the timing correctly. There is some similarities between the previous generation K20, K24 engine.... However the K24W Earth Dream Technology engine doesn't have the cam locking pin feature. I had to utilize three Visegrips to be able to maneuver and lock the camshaft into the right position. In my opinion, it's not a difficult task but a lot of patience and dexterity is surely needed.

Hi, I was watching your video I wanted to know if it possible to replace the timing chain cover while engine is still in the car? Any help please. The car was in an accident and there is a leak because they had welded the cover.

So you can replace the oil pump tensioner and guide without removing the oil pan?

Una pregunta después no quedo un zumbido en la distribución, cambie toda la distribución por qué sonaba al encender, después de cambiar ya no sonaba, paso unos días regreso el sonido al encender y al agarrar temperatura de trabajo el motor
