How To: Colorful Makeup for Beginners | Alexandra Anele

Hey guys!

A had a bunch of requests for me to make this How To: Colorful Makeup for Beginners video, so here it is! Adding color to your look can be tricky if you're not sure where to start, so I'm going to show you three ways to add a pop of color to your look if you don't know where to start. There are so many different ways you can do it, but my favorite are a colorful inner corner, a colorful waterline, and/or a colorful winded eyeliner. You can do this with any color, but my fave is aqua blue.

FAQ's

Q What camera do you use?
A I used to always film with my iPhone but now I'm using the SONY A5000 to film and take most of my photos.

Q Lighting?
A I filmed my earlier videos in front of my living room window but I now use a ring light and two umbrella soft lights.

Thank you so much for teaching us in detail. You're amazing. I LOVE the videos that are a little longer. Could you do a video on how to apply eye makeup if your eyes are different shapes. One of mine is a little rounder than the other. I'm 57 and have just really started noticing it with the aging process. My skin is in really good shape and very few wrinkles but for some reason this is really showing up more in pictures. Again thank you for your tutorials, I've learned a lot from you.
