I divide the big Costco bag of bacon bits into snack sized zip lock bags and then stick them in a big freezer bag. That way I can take out a recipe sized amount and they last forever in the freezer.

How to tell someone lives in a very dry state (UT) vs. a very humid state (south FL - come on November!!): UT = bread sitting in the pantry, no problem. FL = bread sitting in the pantry - can you say moldy in less than 24 hrs??? All of our bread/torts/buns live in the fridge - they have their own shelf.

I've been pre-making zucchini boats (w/o sauce and cheese) and freezing them. They freeze great and yummy when winter (Michigan) is here☺ Taking advantage of this year's produce

I love your meal planning videos! Please do more! You explain not only how to do it, but how to shop your shelves and create your meal plan. Love your planner. One thing I would ask is that you add the Shop your shelves/menu planning and Meal Ideas section to each week. I plan weekly instead of monthly. Please don't ever remove this section. If you wanted you could create a Shop Your Shelves and Menu Planning&Meal Ideas booklet. Similar to how you created the Know Before You Go Booklet (Which I Love!)

I have a story-- we've always made your orange salad- with the addition of cherry jello powder. We always called it just "the pink stuff". It was the first thing my daughter learned to "cook", at age 4yrs. But she decided it needed a name. So, at 4 yes old she forced the entire family to change the name to " Cottage Cheese Delight"! We've been calling it that for 30 years now, lol!

Yay for spending Monday with Kim. I was already in my apron and planning for this week.

Yes, Kim, you do have a lot of condiments in that frig, lol. Maybe you could use some lazy susans for them, you seem to need that shelf on the upper left that is folded up because of taller bottles. You could measure the depth of the frig shelves and get the largest lazy susan or two that would fit and put the condiment bottles that would fit under that top shelf and the taller ones else where. You could probably use two shelves with lazy susans and of course consolidate any dupe condiment bottles (i.e. mustards)?

We have been working on landscaping and our garden. It's a lot of work but we don't mind. Its always windy here so it's been rough with our garden. Have a blessed day Kimmy and Fam💗

Your celery tip works for carrots as well as peppers, I'vedone the bell and the Anaheim peppers, works wonderfully ♡

Greetings from East Texas! How appropriate that meal planning was your topic today! Last night I sat down and outlined dinner meals for the next 4 weeks! I want to see how much we actually spend on food…and hopefully with a Plan…it will be less! Glad you had a good trip to Nashville. Understand your garden struggles. Here on the Texas / Arkansas / Louisiana Border area we are ROASTING to death. Except for the rare Spit Shower we had last week… everything splits and goes around us. Blessings to y’all this week.

Peppers love Epsom salt. I do about 2 tablespoon of Epsom salt to a gallon of water. I watered the with the salt about every 2 weeks. Epsom has magnesium n sulfate in it.

Thanks for reminding me that I have a sweet potato that I need to use! I love chicken salad. I haven't made it in awhile. Those blackberries in the garden look scrumptious! Have a great day 😀

when you plan a week's worth of meals, do you ask your family what they want or are craving?? How do you decide? Do you have a recipe book of favorites?? I would like to at least plan a week but maybe a month but it seems I can't even plan two days!!! (sigh)
