Putin's Ukraine blitz lands UK Army in 'Great Distress'; Sunak 'overcommits' Ukraine on arms

The UK "does not have enough money" to fulfil its military commitments after digging deep into its stockpiles to fund and equip the Ukrainian war effort. "Britain's self-defence is in jeopardy because the government is giving away critical military assets to Kyiv," said defence officials to Sky News. As a British citizen it is so sad to see the nation's leaders offering statements and promises to Ukraine when the British nation is in such a bad state of affairs in the world. The leaders seem to still be living in the glory days ignoring the fact that Britain has nothing much that the rest of the world wants nor needs and all the while incurring annual trade deficits. These deficits in turn mean British workers cannot be paid wages to keep up with inflation, immigration is uncontrolled and social cohesion is threatening to further diminish any national pride and confidence in the country, and yet the 'leaders' eagerly push Ukraine and commit the British military to poverty.
