Painting my art teacher - Timelapse

I painted my art teacher. And it’s the best painting I’ve ever made.

Supplies used: Winsor & Newton Artisan, water mixable oils
Mostly Japanese brushes.

Beautiful. Touched my heart. I remember this art teacher when I was about 16. Some years later I heared that he was retiring. He was pleasantly surprised that I was visiting him in school right before his retirement. I just had to. He was perhaps the only teacher at that time I felt comfortable with in a special way. The big art classroom was a fantastic combination of discoveries. And I still remember he showed an animation he made. This still was the VHS era. I was surprised that an adult could make such a "silly" yet creative animation. A beautiful memory. I salute him :)

I’m loving this so much . I had a brilliant photography teacher in high school that really had a brilliant way of reaching the kids who just could not grasp the daily mold of school life. The artists. He was an outcast amongst other teachers and controversial. But he touched so many of our hearts. This reminded me so much of him. Rest easy Gerow. Thank you Cuckoo this is brilliant.

I pretty much ONLY use the WN water mixables. I love the drying speed and feel and flow to them. Moved onto them from old Gamblin oils. This was a GREAT video.
