Mouse Pad Versus Desk, Mouse Pad Versus No Mouse pad

Even if a desk feels smooth and the mouse glides you are still scraping its surface with plastic.
Old mousepads are like fine underwear, that, yes, they fray on the edges, but you keep them until they finally disintegrate to the point that one day instead of fraying they disintegrate fully and turn to dust and float away in the air :)

Im aging but can we get this in a way that applies to office workers i literally had a nightmare just about the slide, slide, CLACK, scroll noise

i strated using my deck because it way better thing a mouse pad it as a little friking but not a lot and started using arm aiming
