E-flite Turbo Timber Overview and Flight

The Turbo Timber is becoming my favorite in the quickly growing line of Timber planes. Slow, full flaps flight to vertical power and aerobatics gives the model a nice range of performance. This one could serve as a trainer that gives you room to grow and develop your skills. A 4 cell 2200 packs give around 7-10 minutes of flight time. Next for this plane will be fpv.

No build video for this one as it is the same as the Timber X which can be found here:

I got my Turbo Timber over a year ago. Just a perfect, easy to fly plane. I converted it this past Spring to a Float Plane. Equally as much fun on floats as it was with wheels.
I bought my son an Apprentice STS to get comfortable on floats. Great plane, but a waste of money. The Turbo Timber in SAFE is about the same. (The good news is, we can both fly at the same time with the Turbo Timber and the Apprentice. And if he screws up, I still have one of my ALL TIME favorite planes) Can’t say enough good things about the Turbo Timber. Thanks for putting the video together.

Great job... glad you're back to offering your thoughts on your planes.

I half expected Julie Andrews to come over the hill singing The Hills Are Alive.. Beautiful day. Slow fly. My kind of flying Jon.

Hey Jon, great flying! That field looks so much better when it's dried out!

Headed out in 30 minutes to buy mine at Hobby Town. I have been watching all your Timber planes flying. Great airplane to get a few flights in after work. Thanks for the up close review.

Wow, excellent stuff. You're well in charge of that, fantastic to see it operated from far from ideal location. Looks easy landing on a tiny strip, but I know it certainly isn't. Good man for showing the funny bits, a lot wouldn't

5:29 LOL!
A slamming job on the overview&flight Johnathan maybe in the future you could try to mix in your alierons with your flaps for a munch faster roll rate if you like that if not its cool after all you have your Timber X for that LOL.

Nice! I know from spending quite a bit of time chasing the Turbo Tinder that it is a great plane. You flew it like a boss. I can't wait to fly Sunday without mud 😂

Thank you for showing all of those noseovers. That would make me likely to stomp it lol

Nice demo John! You wouldn't have nosed over so many times if you were landing flat or uphill, but I know you were aiming into the wind. I was expecting a cameo from Rob, but Steve will do this time lol.

Because of landing gear issue of breaking, has convinced me to get the Eflite Maule because of it's stout landing gear.
