Abraham Lincoln believed that supporting labor (the people who produce goods and services every day) was more important than supporting capital (wealth, property, and the means of production) because without labor there would be no capital in the first place. Why, then, are we taxing the labor side of the market harder than the capital side?

Robert Reich's research needs to be aired regularly on the internet, radio, television to keep the populace updated and informed on the various topics that we all need to know in order to vote more responsibly! Thanks to others like Bernie Sanders and the reporters at the FreeSpeech TV Network we all can learn to vote for candidates that are not owned by Wall Street. I can recall some historian - decades ago - who developed a mathematical formula to predict historic civil unrest. Applied to past violence and revolutions, it was uncannily accurate.
In every case, at a breaking point when a desperate population decided they had nothing left to lose, the rich and royal suddenly found that their unearned fortunes offered little protection against mobs, firing squads and guillotines.

One of the problems about such rigged systems is that the rich start to consider themselves fireproof. Just so many history books to show how tragically wrong they were. And even they had their innocents.
