Looked so simple that I just had to try it. Totally fixed the sensors on my 2015 Dodge Durango. I had bought the vehicle used and thought they were working OK until they failed. After following your simple fix they now work exactly as described in the owners manual.

No way, can’t believe this worked. Washed my car and cleaned the sensors with detailing brush and shampoo. Dried the car and sprayed wd40 to all the sensors and now they work again. Ps- I hit a big puddle on a backroad and it stopped working, now they are fixed. Thanks to the bmw doctor👍👍👍

The reverse parking sensors in my car have not worked at all for a good 6 months with an intermittent fault prior to that. I tried this fix and it worked like a charm! Hey Doc. Again another great video where you've saved us from spending money on parts that seems to fail quite often. I actually had ordered a couple of new sensors the other day and was about to go to the "stealer" to have them to plug in and diagnose which sensors was faulty. But then I saw this video and tried it out - This worked PERFECTLY, even though I've had the malfunction going on for a couple of months. Works for me on my e60 530d, my sensor was totally gone with no beep sound, with error on screen. I do that for all sensors and now works fine, thanks alot for that :)

Thank you so much. This is an awesome tip. The BMW quoted me $800 to replace one faulty front parking sensor. Sporadically the right front sensor keeps beeping. Often I had to turn off the whole thing. I just sprayed WD40 on my 2016 F10, now it works like brand new again. Thank you again.

i had the service advance track warning, check park aid warning, hill start Assist not available warning, abs light and anti slip, i cleaned all the sensor front and back with WD40 and after few minutes all cleared. Thank you very much it was a great help.

Can't believe this actually worked, I had auto PDC failure on G31, manual enabling them worked then that stopped also... for multiple days, didn't plug it in as don't have ISTA but I sprayed and wiped all PDC sensors on the bumpers and boom fixed.

Fantastic tip, my 18 month old G30 developed a sensor failure. I then found out my WD40 can was punctured but even dripping some of the fluid onto the sensor and the next day everything was perfect. Many thanks again

Thank you so much after all the torrential rain we have had in the UK I got an Automatic PDC activation failure on my 70 plate X7. This saved me a 2 day diagnostic booking at my BMW agent. You are the best! Wish I'd known this on my last 2 cars a Ford Mondeo and a Skoda Superb as the sensors always played up after rain on those! its crazy such a simple thing that is regularly exposed to the elements isn't better protected.

I have an Opel Astra K tourer, and yesterday it started beeping randomly whilst driving, the message came up “service parking sensor”
I swore at it, today I had enough as it constantly beeps throughout any journeys, I looked online then brought my search to YouTube, I found this video, so I tried it,
I wasn’t expecting anything but I was wrong it actually did fix it, I took it for a drive and no alerts, parked up on return and they activated as they should so thank you for sharing your knowledge👍🏻
