I just didn't get why people like daemon at all. He insulted otto's dead wife just for fun, killed a messenger, killed his wife, groomed his niece and undermined his brother's authority (which in turn made viserys look weak). He was even betraying rheanyra in riverlands until he learned that her blood will give birth to the prince that was promised.
He is not the best warrior, cole and aemond are better. He is not the smartest either otto and jace are way above what deamon can even comprehend. He has the best dragon and thats it.
And everyone acts like there is noone better than him while in truth everyone is better than him.
