A Wire EDM with a 1,000 RPM Spindle – HOW?!

We had a Sodic sinker with the linear motor in a tool shop I worked in. The ram was so fast that no flushing was needed. Dielectric was forced out of the cavity every time the ram came down.

Is there a bore measuring program for a Sodick wire edm? When trying to find what your offset should be set too, is what I'm talking about. Or do you just measure a bore with a bore gauge? I'm sorry I'm new and use a old Sodick 280L to do mostly one job.

I really do appreciate these machines.
Full blown automation and AI are going to remove a lot of jobs.
And there may not be jobs to replace them, or have a great income indifference. What do you think about the private sector providing a UBI for people affected?
At some point, a consideration should be given.
There can only be so many doctors after AI. Truck drivers after trucks drive themselves. Soon to be longshoreman, robots are coming to unload the container.
