Some art surfaced today that brought about some new information about a Transformers Legacy Trilogy Netflix series that never got off the ground and a potential Leader Class Straxus / Darkmount toy that we never got

That redesign for Straxus makes look like a Legitimate Force to be reckoned with and he could've been the Main Villain in the Legacy line.

Hearing all this, makes me really wish we do get a new Straxus figure, and also we get more info on that pitch for Legacy show. because im actually interested on how that would have gone with Straxus and the whole "characters from the multiverse"concept. Also, hearing how you described Leacy, makes me wish that "Collision Course" comic had been made even more.

Darkmount/Straxus hopefully be better a new mold! Make him a Tank then a unique "Third mode" based on his Generations mold. We never heard of him since.

Given that part with Unicron in the WFC trilogy, it fits perfectly with the concept of Legacy. But hopefully, we'll get a Straxus figure sooner rather than later.

A Malkova Straxus from the Armada Starscream wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, but I would prefer if they brought out a Galavatron retool.

The boxart and promo art for legacy packaging should totally be made into a artbook. its all so gorgeous I would love a book filled with all the box art of the legacy line. Kinda wish legacy go a show, maybe with a seperate canon for the seige/kingdom show. Just make it a big cross over of all the different tv series. Could defo take some narrative inspiration from the spiderverse films.

We've been needing a new Straxus and I would've taken a retool of the Galvatron figure for him. Another one we need is Thunderwing. A retool of Cyclonus like they did for Metalhawk would work perfect for a Marvel Thunderwing or if we get a Leader Class Energon Megatron that would be a perfect one to retool into IDW Thunderwing

This is what we need to crowd fund lol. A continuation of G1 where the decepticon civil war between Galvatron and Zarak is over… Straxus, Jhiaxus, and Tarn are there… they rebolster their ranks by having a Quintesson work with Jhiaxus to separate the original programming of Cyclonus, Galvatron, Scourge… and taking that programming and reconstructing bodies for Megatron and the others… forcing the auotobots to reactivate vector sigma and finding out that the programming for the lost autobots is within him… and reconstruct them with updated bodies… boom we are all back… now let’s crowd fund this lol

I agree with what you said about how a Netflix show would be confusing, and I also think it would be hard to pull off as well, because it’s most likely that Netflix wouldn’t bring back most of the original voice actors for most of the characters. But I do think that if they were to make a comic book series out of it, it would be easier, and would be more successful. Also, with it being a comic book, they would have a chance of adding a lot more characters from each toyline into the comic series.

Happy Thanksgiving, P-Man! We don't officially celebrate the occasion over here in the southeastern tropics; yet the spirit of Thanksgiving (& gratitude) always puts existence itself in proper perspective.
Intriguing discourse here... I still have both the Hasbro & Takara Deluxe figures on active display as the 'Twins', actually. And to be honest, aside from scale (just look at those microscopic ala Combiner Wars Ultra Magnus ladders), everything else about the design is either par contemporary or beyond.
Moving forward, like what was done before with both the same Marvel Comics character & Jhiaxus, Straxus here rightly deserves its own tooling. I hope HasTakTom will start looking at your highly informative podcast as a go-to preliminary research & reference source that echoes the true voice of the collector community & relays the pulse of this multi-faceted subculture.
