Honestly, I think if they had handled Ben's character growth better throughout uaf and ov combined, it would have saved a lot of backlash regardless of changes in artstyle and design from both shows

I feel like corporate meddling is what "ruined" Ben 10. The network wanted many different things from the series, and the writers needed to acquiesce to CN demands. Changing the tone, regression character arcs, sometimes making the series too goofy, etc. Ultimately, while I love what we have, I wouldn't lie when I say I'd be interested in what the franchise would be like if CN didn't meddle with the series so much and how it would effect a 5 shows.

I also want people to pair ultimate alien with the shows that came out around the same time, like young Justice, regular show and adventure time

I always enjoyed Ben 10 but I didn’t like the reboot at first but eventually I started to think that it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was

For me the lack of consequences killed the franchise. Ben always wins no matter what. There is no real danger or threat. Ben loses feedback but he eventually gets it back. Max dies but not really since he is back in a few episodes. The only one who really dies is magister labrid and pierce with the former kind of being forgotten and the latter not really affecting ben in any big way with his death. Heck even petropia was brought back.

It's really Ben's character development (some of the others too but in more minor cases).

His growth in Alien Force was fine, dialed way too up in season 3, then reached horrifically inconsistent levels in UA and OV.

I enjoy the mutant thing, but I feel kevin should have been an alien for multiple reasons. One, what the hell was aggragor if osmosions aren’t aliens, two it made the hole kevin dad being real or not confusing. It doesn't ruin the show but something i don't like.

I think the reason Ben always got the Wrong Alien is because azmuth knew that If Ben would get any Alien he wanted he Would only use like 6 aliens, When the Omnitrix is ment to be "I can walk 100 miles, Each step being a different species" so I theorise that Azmuth Designed the finished Omnitrix in a way to give Ben a way to utilise every Alien instead of Sticking with the same "Brawn over brain" mentality Ben is Known for

honestly what ruin ben 10 is probably the alien reboots, getting rid of the character that were good, and including the action scenes where ben 10 series get serious. CN wanted to make it more goofy and funny, but none of us wanted that, we need ben 10 series to be more serious like and dark like to make sure it shows good vision, i hope ben 10 series come back

I think it was the omniverse it was not that serious more like for kids and funny and reboot too but thats my opinion maybe alien force ultimate too it did't had the story like original ben 10

My answer for what ruined Ben 10 is Alien Force Season 3. It was ground zero for a lot of Ben 10's issues going forward. The series never fully recovered from it. Ultimate Alien had to take into account for the events of that season and it was battling the whiplash from that season.

Omniverse embrace the whiplash from that season and lead into the series going under as a whole. I hate OV more than I do AF Season 3, but the source for OV's quality came from that season.

I don't hate AF Season 3 (It's just a very mixed bag), but it's to blame for what happened to Ben 10 as a whole.
