Found this fact with Ash and figured it'd be the perfect time to experiment with Shorts.

Also, to add to this. Squires were traditionally knights in training and would act as assistants to their knights. Maintaining their weapons and armour, helping them get into their armour and the likes.

So there’s even more of a connection to the forever knights

Honestly in retrospect this episode makes sense after learning the forever knights wanted access to mount Rushmore and the subenergy. Replacing the president was a subtle way of getting inside

Honestly them being called the squires would make more sense than being called the knights since they are a little league team, meaning they would be knights in training which ties into the forever knights. Also, I think the reason they went with a K on their uniforms was not just foreshadowing about the knights, but also because using an S would look a bit too similar to Superman’s logo.
