I love traveling with my husband and kids, but every once in awhile I like to go by myself. I enjoy travel and I enjoy being alone. Solo travel is the best way I have found to refill my cup. When I return to my family I’m a better wife and mom. It’s therapeutic.

I love traveling with my husband and two kids. My daughter is older so its usually just my husband, young son, and I.
I love seeing my sons excitement when we travel, giving him amazing experiences and having him try new foods.

Honestly the reason that I love travelling is the moments and memories with my family. I have been to other places around the world for work or on my own (before my wife and son) and while they were interesting I do not reminisce about them anywhere as often as I do the trips with my wife and son

I like the way you put that, and I would have said the same. I _enjoy_ solo travel, meaning that I make the best of it, but I’d _prefer_ to have the family there too.

It’s a catch 22. Traveling solo is really enjoyable for me. Easy logistics, travel at my own pace, less stressful keeping everything together. But I do end up missing the family and like sharing the experiences with them. Traveling solo can get lonely.

Agree 100%. I prefer being with the entire family. When its just me (often for work) i find myself scouting for when I can being them back with me more than just enjoying it. Luckily this week we are going together:)

I love making memories, but wish the husband would slow down a bit, my oldest and I like to hike slow, look at artwork and chill (a bit - I still like to pack it in too). If I am able to go back to the UK to do more of a history tour - like go to hever castle, see some more Holbein paintings, want to see the recently discovered Thomas Cromwell’s book of hours…. That is a trip I would prefer to do alone - I wouldn’t have to worry if my family is bored.

Solo travel is probably the fastest growing segment of the travel industry. My wife is unable to travel due to health conditions but I am still able to go away for a couple of trips a year as long as she is cared for. Can you address this topic in future videos? Thanks.

My husband travels a lot for work. One time he went to Orlando so he stopped at Disney Springs for dinner and to walk around. (We love Disney and go often.) I was a little jealous, but he said it wasn’t the same without us! He did bring me back some candy apples from the candy cauldron though!
