The issue with the photo looking really bad right after taking the picture and then opening it up while still in the camera app is resolved for me now. Also the clean up feature is added to photos.

I really wish they bring back the new “Recents” screen with call icons in RC, considering it’s one of the most liked and appreciated feature by the iOS beta community on Reddit. However, IMO, they would only do it if more people report it as feedback.

I always try to test on whatever the oldest iPhone I have available (in this case, a 256gb iPhone 11).. and it seems to run pretty well. Really loving how "snappy" the iPhone Storage response is, . waiting for that to fully load has always been frustrating.

I get the feeling we are essentially at the final release version, and everything wrong will just stay in iOS 18. They haven’t fixed any of the issues they have been there since beta 1 and we are now on beta 8.

Either they don’t know how to fix the issues or they’re fine with them staying.

This is going to be one of those iOS versions that won’t be usable until a .2 or .3 update later in the year or next year.

After my iPhone 15 Pro Max restarted two or three times and it went through a lot of their splash screens. It was very slow and bumpy for 10 or 15 minutes and then I finally restarted it again and it seems to have settled out over the last hour.

in latest 18 beta, now we can search through contact from dialer using the number pad like in Android. I don't know why no is talking about this, this is really a great feature.

They still haven’t made the app icons system wide I still find dark icons even though I have light mode icons turned on in settings and customizing Lock Screen controls 😭

We Got the ability to take objects out of photos now!

Something I’ve sent in on Feedback a couple times is the widget screen on stand by. I add the digital clock on left and battery on right. And then next day it’s not there.

My Huawei smartwatch is still not getting notifications from my phone. The “radio” in Bluetooth is missing. This was a typical issue under a beta 1 or 2 release, but gets fixed from beta 3 onwards. I have reported this to apple for a while now - nobody listens. Soooo frustrating

Maybe my AirPods will act normal now I’m sick of them disconnecting 30 times a day then blowing my ears out when they reconnect
