I worked for a title Escrow company doing real estate closing for 45 years. This isn't the first time a tax credit for 1st time home buyer has happened. It worked great. Thousands and thousands of 1st time home buyer bought houses which in turn helped the economy because of all the additional purchases a 1st time buyer has to purchase. Appliance, furniture, home furnishings for every room in the house. Then you start on the landscaping outside
