Zeddy, RegisKillbin, Kripp, Rarran and other hearthstone youtubers all play different hs gamemodes. Duels, Battlegrounds, Standard, Arena and Wild are in the game that can new cards from new expansions to climb and win HS games.
Hearthstone is a card game based on WOW, it is also a digital card game.

I'm surprised Maestra isn't on the list, aside from the broken interaction with Wildpaw Gnoll, the effect is really unique.

I know it's not entirely unique, but I thought whizbang the wonderful was an absolutely baller card. You played one of the recommended decks the hearthstone team made and it just allowed so much diversity when you played. I know it wasn't very strong, but being able to have basically infinite decks by just crafting 1 card made me really excited as a free to play.

I think it’s important to mention that the Elwynn Boar is a reference to the WoW South Park episode. The boys can’t level up normally so they have to kill tons of boars. In the end the only way they kill the enemy is with the Sword of a Thousand Truths which was removed for the game for being too powerful 😂

A philosophy of game design is to "build the box before you think outside it." And a lot of these cards show the "thinking outside the box" design - what if a core rule of the game just works differently now? Like Dew Process drawing two cards per turn. Just an ongoing, unstoppable card draw. Valdris to put our handsize to 12. And more. It took them some time to really figure out what they wanted to do with the game, but once they did, they were able to think outside the box.

Sometimes, however, it's poorly balanced, like having 20 maximum mana...

There's really a ton of them. Going back to the classic Millhouse Manastorm, Nat Pagle only having a 50% chance is pretty unique, Lorewalker Cho, Nozdormu (Nozdormu the Eternal? Oh, you mean the one without any text?), speaking of Nozdormu there's the Paladin Nozdormu that ramps both players to 10 Mana, speaking of Nozdormu there's also Muruzond, there's Malygos, Alexstrasza, I'm not sure if we can count Ysera and Deathwing tho.
There's the alternate win cons like Mecha'Thun, (speaking of which C' Thun was pretty unique) Uther of the Ebon Blade too.
I'd argue that while Zombeasts just got brought back, they're such a unique idea that they should be included anyways.
Also, Zephrys is the only card that lets you discover based on board state.

I play Remornia a lot - in Pure Paladin with Countess. That’s Hearthstone for you!

I'd love a little series like this, but maybe not as many cards per episode and show the interactions in games. Love the content either way glad I found your channel when I came back to the game during Sunken City. (played beta to about Ben Brode's departure)

My deck is built around Remornia the Living Blade, best so far is 23/44 stat line

I would also add that one gnome legendary which allowed you to get a random pre-set deck. I made him golden to finally fulfil my dream of having a full golden deck. Miss him so much

I'll never disenchant mogu cultist, simply because it's so much fun to use it in brawls that limit the number of cards.

I don't know if it was changed, but you could get cards from classic with Toki, stuff like old 3/15 Jarraxus and 4 mana Leeroy in wild.

Mayor Noggenfogger still remains my favorite Hearthstone card ever printed!!
