Caligura will moonscorch into the abominable Monster on the night of Day 2 as long as he has remained alive and there are no additional conditions that need to be met for this to happen. He will be found in the water of the sewers where you will need to walk around until you see his head pop up out of the water. This will happen one more time, and on the third instance, he will spring from the water to initiate a battle with the player.
