THIS is what ACTUALLY happens after you die

Almost everyone believes that when you die you either go to Heaven or Hell. And for the most part, that's correct. However, what is Hell? That is a topic we've covered in depth on this channel in previous videos.

In this video we have Jonathan Spainhour talking to us about what he believes to truly be the consequence of sin and what Jesus saves us from. That is, death.

Death is the punishment for sin, death is what Jesus defeated on the cross, death is what we are saved from! How good of God to see us on our way to death and step in to save us. He loves us and doesn't want us to die but to have eternal life with Him. He is the only one through whom we can access that.

Enjoy!

The wages of sin is death. If your sin is paid for then the gift is eternal life.

If you aren't born again, you are NOT a Christian. if you are, you get to be with the lord. If not, you get to be without the lord. Your choice. Life OR death.

Your body dies but the spirit lives on ever taking forms experiencing that which is not God ( sin and the suffering it causes) until one day you go home to reunite with the Lord. ❤

Matthew 10:28
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Soooo...yeah. Also what then is the Ghost that Jesus himself and many others "gave up" at death"...Spirit??

Did any of you die and come back to tell what really happened?

Old news. Jehovahs Witnesses have been trying to tell people that for nearly 150 years now.

A Greek idea incorporated into Christianity by the gnostics is not true.

It could possibly be a Greek idea but Second temple Judaism believed in an eternal soul, it predates Christianity and was a common belief amongst the jews during Jesus earthly ministry. Second temple jews believed Sheol was divided into a good and bad place where souls were either in paradise or suffering the consequences of their sin.

First temple Judaism typically believed Sheol was a place of the dead where the spirits of the dead were shades of their former selves, weak, semiconscious, exisiting in a shadowy way but seperate from the body and not whot humans were meant to be.

Both first and second Temple View’s on the afterlife could be true and neither actually contradicts the other. Simply a good or bad dream like state while awaiting the final judgement.

Where in Scriptures does it state that YHWH became Jesus? Nowhere.
