Streets of Rage 4 review, Streets of Rage 4 is an upcoming beat 'em up video game being developed by Dotemu, Lizardcube and Guard Crush Games. The game is a continuation of Sega's Streets of Rage series, which was a trilogy of games that released during the early 1990s for the Sega Genesis. The game is scheduled to be released for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on April 30, 2020.

I wasn’t sure about this as the original games mean a lot to me, but I think the style has grown on me. You can see the shear amount of love that has been put into this game. Yuzo being onboard swung it for me. Great review as usual Jon. Hope you and yours are all good.

I've been playing it today. I'm only four levels in but I'm having a hell of a lot of fun. I don't have nostalgia for the series but I have played the originals as an adult and I think they're great. This game definitely lives up to that legacy.

I still have my original copies of the Streets of Rage trilogy that I bought back in the early 90's. I also have a copy of Bare Knuckles 3 that has an English translation too. So to say that Streets of Rage is highly anticipated by me is an understatement. Maybe if this is a success, Sega will allow the same developers to make a new Golden Axe game.

The palette swap enemies in here have different moves and attack patterns in which is a nice addition. Before it was just more HP and I think for three some variants acted faster.

Plays just like SoR 2, but with a lot of quality of life improvements, like a different button to pick up items, among many others. As a big time fan of 2, this is everything I wanted from a new game. So happy right now!

Got the Android version yesterday: it's ABSOLUTELY phenomenal. House soundtrack, meaty hit sounds, fun hand drawn animation, attitude, brilliant move sets, and the atmosphere is identical to the first trilogy. I love it

Everything I was skeptical about when seeing the trailers was instantly washed away when I played this! This is a true sequel for sure and everything from the graphics, attention to detail, the combo system, the music...they nailed it. I will admit this is a tough rodeo ride and a lot harder on even normal difficulty than the previous games but I can't stop playing it. If you're a fan of the series you must get this game. It puts sequels like Double Dragon 4 from a few years ago to shame.

This is the most comprehensive review I've seen for SOR4 from a true fan. I ordered classic edition for switch from limitedrun so I have physically but also now got digitally for ps4 as cant wait and want to get the trophies
