It felt more like a movie. I loved the concept of going back in time as a kid with the same mentality you have as an adult. I remember falling asleep and waking up throughout the night to watch.

Here's a fun fact:
At episode 6 start the song "Who Is She?" at 20:50, and you will see how perfectly it fits, or you can start it at 20:48 it's a bit different but still good, btw this songs sounds like it's LITERALLY MADE FOR THIS ANIME, i raccomend watching the anime before going to episode 6 so that you can understand even more why it fits perfectly

I love the plot and the art style of the anime so much. The music is great and there’s a perfect amount of emotion. Personally, I thought the ending was really satisfying to watch

Binged it all last night. The show had me through a roller coaster of emotions. The mystery part isn't a mystery as it gives us omniscience but seeing how the plot unfurled with what we know vs what the characters know was intense.

Manga is way better, much more scenes with Airi and Satoru to build they relationship and not just thrown out of nowhere like in the anime, it deepens the bond between Satoru and Airi, the latter of whom had very little screentime in the anime for example, they omitted an entire chapter in which Airi and Satoru rescue some children from an abandoned building, after Satoru's revival activates near a demolition site, also at the hospital, after Satoru wakes up from his coma, in the manga, Airi stops the paparazzi from taking pictures to him, not Yashiro, also Satoru regains his memories in the manga when he sees Airi(then he faints again and goes into a coma for another year), not when he touches Kayo's child, also when Satoru wakes up again, he remembers Airi and says he wants to go see her, but when he gets close to her he remembers when Airi almost died in the fire, and he decide that he doesn't want to put her in danger again and avoids her for a while, in the manga, Airi's development is much better than in the anime, + the manga focuses much more on characters development, like Kenya, who works together with Sawada to discover who the murderer is while Satoru is in coma(another scene completely omitted in the anime), let's not talk about Yashiro's backstory which is completely absent in the anime(very stupid not to include the backstory of the main villain imo) + manga has a much better ending than the anime!

Manga: 9/10

I was still new at anime and my brother showed me this & it was never predictable to me so definitely show this anime to newer watchers. Overall I give it a 9/10

I don't think people think enough about the character development and the idea of time traveling related to Satoru, he had the opportunity to look at his mistakes and get a different look at his life, I find that such a good thing and something that adds a lot to the story and development of the story and characters in general

To be honest this show is just definitely worth watching. It makes you emotional, horrified, worried and altough many people talk about it having a “bad ending” I would say the ending fits perfectly the whole morale of the story and when you have a deep think about it, I am sure you will understand it. Give it a watch, you won’t regret it.
