It's actually not as bad as I thought it would be, just the line "God damn not an angel when I die" sounds really weird. But I guess if you don't understand the original you wouldn't think it's so bad.

I didn't think there was an English version of this song, and it's really good, but I prefer the German version even more
It is worth remembering that this version is not a translation of the German version, most of the lyrics in this version are different from the original

See it sounds good. But on the German version "Gott weiss ich will kein engel sein" means "God knows I don't want to be an angel" and here they say "Goddamn not an angel when I die" so that confuses me alot, and this version has more of that 'Till Lindemann' vibe, Du hast (English version) has darker / deeper voice imo

I think I prefer the pure literal english translation, BUT damn a good conversion!!!!
