I own commercial property along a busy highway. Sometimes I drive by and see someone set up selling boiled peanuts, fruit, or fresh shrimp. I usually stop, introduce myself, and buy whatever they're selling. They always offer it for free because I tell them they can stay, but I refuse the gift, insisting on paying. There's never a reason to treat neighbors badly. And yes, we are ALL neighbors in this world.

Even if the fruit stand was in front of his driveway, the police are supposed to deal with this. Not YOU destroying the man’s property.

You have GOT to try and do a Reckoning on the girl in Georgia that pushed the street performers keyboard onto the ground, stole money from his tip jar, and then asked him if he was gonna fight her over it like an absolute goon

"You're infringing on my property Rights!"

We had a situation like this happen with my grandmother’s neighbor. A food cart setup on the corner of her street for the day because it’s right at a popular bus stop that goes to the stadium. The owner of the house at the corner was unhappy he was selling on the sidewalk he considered his property. He even tried flipping his cart when the vendor didn’t immediately leave. My grandma watched all this from her porch next door. Yelled at the neighbor and offered her yard for the vendor to sell from. The vendor was very grateful and gave her a free food. The neighbor tried to call the cops but they weren’t going to come as game nights are always busy and it was her property. The vendor got lots of business. Grandma and him took turns telling all the customers what a schmuck the neighbor had been. Customers left their trash on his property instead of using the easy access trash can at the bus stop they waited at. Luckily most of it was caught in his gate and he had to clean it up. Grandma ended up outliving her schmuck neighbor.

Poor Diego, the guy was just trying to earn money to feed his family. You have to appreciate hard work. I totally understand asking to move the table, but not what this guy did. That's terrible.

You went full detective on this one! Lol

Hi! As someone who works in city planning I have a tip for your future investigations! Many cities, (depending on the state) have parcel data publicly available in which case you can see property lines as well as owner information on top of aerial images. If you type in the county name followed by "CAD" you'll be brought to some sort of a parcel viewer! Great work on this one!

He should have called the cops. Instead of acting like that.

First, let me say I appreciate your research and detective work in these incidents. As to the subject at hand, the home owner could be justified in his displeasure, but handled it in the worst way. Destruction of someone's property is not ok.

The vendor probably assumed that the business was closed for the evening, since the gate was padlocked. A normal person would have identified himself as the property owner and requested the vendor move along. Dude was rockin some rage for sure. Thank goodness he didn't pull a firearm.

I admire that you took the time to provide evidence that paints a more ‘nuanced’ picture of the incident. None of us wanted to hear anything that would take even a scintilla of the hate off David but you did so in the name of truth and accuracy. Nice work!

Maybe if he had talked to him instead of yelling and destroying property, Diego would have moved and given him some fruit for his troubles.

So he just made a big mess on his own property😂

I totally understand why he was upset because who just sets up in someone's driveway like that, HOWEVER throwing a tantrum and destroying everything like a little child was most definitely NOT the way to handle it.

He wants them to clean up his vandalism? What a jerk

How ironic that the guy that destroys the immigrant's fruit stand, runs a Lawn and Landscaping company.

It doesn't change my opinion really but it does make me understand his anger. I used to live next to a Frat house and they would have frequent parties. It was so aggravating when I would come home at night and see multiple cars in my driveway. I had MANY talks with said frat guys and still it kept happening. It was when I threatened to box them in with my own car and call a tow truck did it finally stop. I never vandalized their cars or property. My anger didn't rise to that level. You have a personal responsibility to NOT let it get to that point. Very self destructive.
