They do literal jumpscares in this show so well. They put a terrifyingly heartbreaking moment so suddenly in such a casual scene.

I honestly hope her mom is still alive somehow. I think now more than ever before, June and her would have a great connection. And Holly is going to be one proud mom. It would be awesome to see her reaction to everything June has done.

What's amazing is that June's mother was sent to the Colonies rather than being executed early on. In the TV series, Holly was an ob/gyn and provided abortion care, so it's surprising that she didn't share the same fate as Moira's doctor.

Idont believe her mom lived. Junes been there for years, and that’s when she was barely sent there. Anybody that goes to the colonies dies. They didn’t show her when Emily was there.

This scene as well as the scene where June is watching the TV show Friends ( season 2) are so terrifying. This scene shows that Holly didn’t survive the colonies; no one does. And June watching Friends under a memorial photograph of ground zero WTC (9/11) shatters the thin line between reality and fiction.

They showed that photo on purpose when June was there. Wanted her to REALLY feel hopeless. Truly a great scene. I felt hopeless with her😢

I will always hold that it was a grave mistake not naming the baby Holly, or having Holly as Nicoles middle name.
