if there are no bolts on the lower rim band, does that mean we have to remove the whole lid assembly to put those included ones in? they're like flat top bolts

Is this not compatible with an older green egg? I bought these but on installation there are no holes to screw these into.

So...why are there SO many parts in the bag? It looks like you only need 8 (nutsx4, boltsx4)

Everyone commenting about no mounting bolts in the hinge band - the entire band has to be removed to install the mounting bolts for the eggmates. It's a finicky process. If you have an older egg, it's worth buying a new hinge band as well as a new gasket and doing a full refurb while installing the side tables.

What a pain. The eggmates tend to be wider than brackets where they need to go. So you gonna hafta to FORCE them to fit. Or bend a few parts. Not easy.
