The Secret Adventures of Tom Thumb directed by Dave Borthwick.

Filmed in Bristol, England at Bolex Brothers studios, The Secret Adventures of Tom Thumb highlights the Claymation and Stop Motion camera work of Dave Borthwick. Though the story itself is original, the characters Tom and Jack are from the childrens classics Tom Thumb and Jack the Giant Killer a.k.a Jack and the Beanstalk.

I've been looking for this movie for over a decade! I'm 32 and I remember this creepy claymation film from when I was a young kid. I just remembered it being really bizarre and this scene where one of the characters shoots a blow dart into some giant's neck. I can't believe I finally found this film after years of searching, I was starting to think I'd never find it!

I watched this when I was 5 and home alone. At 11:50 I was so scared and couldn't take it anymore so I ran to my neighbor's house, who were an old couple Reg and Stella who have passed now. Thanks for all the nightmares...

Legendary! one of my all time favorites to introduce people to, and watch the reactions it evokes.... watch it more than once and it makes much more sense than it seems on one's first impression. Truly complex and beautifully sad masterpiece.

Over two decades ago I seen just a short scene with a clay person and a little monster friend, it was just the part where they were crawling out of the tube and the people killed the creature (little me was sad because I knew the monster was helping but they didn't know). I changed the channel and wasn't able to find the movie again, but tonight I found it again and got my closure. 2-10-22

I remember it was on the night before Xmas Eve in either 1993 or 1994 & I caught a bit of it but my mam wouldn’t let me stay up to watch it but taped it. So reminds me of that xmas eve morning which was a strange thing to watch on a Xmas eve morning but kinda cool. I’ll have to watch this soon. I remember it being fascinating. Good stuff 👏🏻
