I've had 2 308 and never any trouble great cars. Much better than my vw anyway! All this Peugeot unreliable cliche is gone. Would defiantly recommend them I've done over 200, 000 in both my old one and new one with no problem. Also a few of my friends who drive other Peugeot recommended them to me because they had no trouble either

Recent een 308GTI gekocht van 2011. 1 sleutel was al vervangen en een andere klikte niet meer goed open. Motor lekte flink olie en koelvloeistof sensor ging sporadisch af ook al was het reservoir vol. Achterbaklampje was ook defect. Dus herken veel van de genoemde problemen. Gelukkig tegenwoordig 12 maanden garantie, dus tot dusver nog niks zelf hoeven betalen. Maandelijks op Zandvoort Vrij rijden te vinden ermee, dus nog steeds blij met de aankoop!

Nonsense. I have been driving my 308 for 8 years since 2010 and never faced the problems mentioned above. A most pleasant driving experience..solid and safe and spacious inside. Eat lightbulbs ? hahaha never even had to change one single lightbulb in all these 8 years. Neither have I changed a single fuse.

So the low power engines had to be worked hard due to chassis weight. The rear engine mount gets strained. The wiring harness gets torn. Coolant leaks near the temperature sensor. The engine can overheat. The headlight assembly is prone to fracturing. The bulbs get used up quickly. The dashboard lighting is prone to blowing fuses. Sometimes the key doesn't work. And all the keys are poorly made and break easily. Yet - it's still reliable.... for a Peugeot.

De 1.6THP is een befaamd en berucht motorblok. Dat dit niet aan de orde is gekomen vind ik onbegrijpelijk, juist omdat de rest van de occasion video's van hoog niveau zijn.

Useful review. Not easy if you have to cover the whole range of Peugeot 308s. It is an undeniable fact that there were electrical problems and rather expensive spare parts like aircon coil and pump. Having said that, I am satisfied with Peugeot's willingness to help replace parts that were due to engine design flaws. I have been an avid fan of Peugeot, and still am, having driven the 2010 and 2014 Griffe models, the latter definitely an improvement over the previous one. I still own the Griffe due to its relatively better performance and easy drive factor. On the whole, a really good hatchback for those who are willing to service car regularly after the 5-year warranty period.

Mijn ouders rijden al jaren Peugeot, maar ze hebben nog nooit problemen gehad met sleutels die uit elkaar vielen of lampen die om de haverklap kapot gingen.

I bought a second-hand ten-year-old P308 1.6 petrol engine version (125, 000kms) last year. I have now had it for a 12 months, done 25, 000kms. My car does NOT have 120hp as the manufacturer claims, the engine is noisy and chronically underpowered with sluggish acceleration. The engine has leaked oil on a.regular basis (which I fixed) and the air con has never worked. Very poor fuel economy - 6, 5l per 100 kms (motorway and rural driving with a light foot ! ). The remote lock control packed up (battery was ok) so the circuit had to be replaced. Pros are: Good brakes and handling, comfortable seats and ride, stylish interior and dashboard. I DO NOT recommend buying the 1600 petrol version - get the HDi turbodiesel instead, for better engine oerformance and fuel economy.

Peugeot 5008 oude model gehad, altijd problemen met motor (kapotte sensors, distr. riem problemen etc paar keer in noodmode naar de garage moeten rijden.
Dus later geen Peugeot met deze motor gekocht. THP nu ook in de Opel, dus ook geen Opel meer (en Mini en Citroen)

I've been driving a 308 1.6 THP for years. I am very satisfied with the engine and safe driving. I service it regularly and have never had the slightest problem. between the Japanese and the French, I chose a better car. and that is.308 thp 1.6 I recommend it to everyone, but it must be regularly maintained and serviced. if someone is lazy, it does not mean that it is a bad car.

4-traps automaat skippen maar de THP is een fijne motor? Uhhhh? Met deze tegenstrijdigheden raak ik de weg kwijt.
