Evolution of Peugeot 308 [2007 - 2023]

The evolution of the Peugeot 308 includes three generations of the family car developed by the French car manufacturer, Peugeot. The first Peugeot was launched in 2007 and was available in the Peugeot 308 with 3 doors, Peugeot 308 with 5 doors, Peugeot 308 estate SW and Peugeot 308 Coupé Cabriolet CC. The following Peugeot 308s included both facelift models and new generations that were sold in millions. The 2022 Peugeot 308 III was inspired by models in the crossover segment and came with a totally new design. Moreover, Peugeot also announced the electric version of the Peugeot 308 available from 2023.

I have a 2012 Peugeot 308 HDi (2L Diesel) This engine (according to my Peugeot mechanics) is far superior to all other Peugeot engines and certainly superior to the newer 1.2 tech engines. I am a minimalist so I like the interior design of the 2012 model. My model has Leather seats, heated drivers seat (which I don't use) and alloy wheels. I do miss a six stacker CD player. I have 150, 000 kms and it has just run in - will keep it for another few years yet. I will buy a 3008 when they perfect the newer engines. In Australia, where I live, the 2L diesel engine is recognised as the best for our road conditions.

BTW Our family has owned Peugeots since 1957 - from 403's through to the newer 308's. Wouldn't change. They are reliable, safe, comfortable and they handle well - I drive hard and fast.
