Looks pretty cool. Instead of fighting to use your T handle and tap, you could chuck up your tap in the chuck of the drill press and twist it by hand while applying slight pressure. That'll get the threads started square every time. Finish the tap with your T handle after you establish a few square threads in each tap drill hole. Just a thought!

At 1:30 if you spin a couple nuts on that bolt before cutting the threads down, when you take them back off they will chase the threads for you. Won’t need to clean that up later with a die.
