Just place a woodcutter in front of his gate or build something that is flammable inside/near his structures if he owns fire throwers/slaves.

In stronghold 1 this trick works on rams as well. Which makes the godawful mission 15 beatable for me.

Wait. Instructions unclear. What exactly are you doing? You select the siege tower and press control key and the number 1 and then click the opponent's gate and somehow this results in an invisible movable siege tower you can still activate once it's placed to place at multiple points along their walls?

Also, is there a way to save effort, like, for example, to somehow place 10 shields to be made by engineers at once instead of selecting the shields one by one? I mean, is there a way to plant 10 without choosing them all over again?
