The regular s23 is for me such a great overall device to the point that it's a boring one, it never makes me think twice about complains or features that stand out, it doesn't feel heavy in the hand, doesn't take up space in the pocket. I'm contantly itching to get my hands on a new device but never find myself justifying it due to the s23. The only thing that it cannot compete is -as you said- a foldable. I'm sure that in a couple of years Samsung will have a compelling offering to match what the OnePlus Open offers plus an S Pen and the One UI.

I really would have thought, the Nothing Phone (2) would get best design. Especially if you take the on board design (icon/launcher) into account. In my option it looks fantastic.

Unfortunately, both Pixels are obscenely overpriced in the Indian market. Pixel 8 Pro was selling for 90k INR (~$1, 100) during the new year sale after applying all card discounts, whereas in the US it costs just $799. Also, after paying higher in India, we don't even get features such as call screening etc that have been available in several other countries for years. used to be a Pixel fanboy till now but this year finally switched to iPhone because of the unfair treatment given to the Indian market.

I traded my s22u for rhe s23 base and i have no regrets, i didnt use the extra features the ultra had to offer, the s23 is the perfect form factor for me

lol I just ordered an S23 in the uk before seeing this. £150 off at the moment on Amazon and Samsung. They are also offering £100 cashback, free buds FE and a year of Disney+ so a great deal as well currently.

1, ) iPhone 15 Pro, to me, looks identical to the iPhone 12 Pro I had. The iPhone 11 I think was the first use of the triple camera setup as we see it today, and looks unchanged to me. So, I don't get how it could win any best design awards since then.

2.) I wish my hands were big enough to use a Pixel 8 Pro with one hand

Your video is top notch, great work! Very interesting points, I ditched the S23 Ultra for the Pixel 8 Pro and I am definitely much happier. I honestly didn't use the S-Pen at all, and while the fingerprint sensor is definitely a downgrade in the Pixel, I use face recognition 99% of the time. The biggest difference for me was the software experience. OneUI has come a long way but to me it is still not cohesive enough, and the duplicate app experiences and stores, having to use a Samsung account for certain features, it feels convoluted.

I also have the S23 and been recommending that phone like crazy all year, its just that good. It does everything you need with ease, including dex!
