I am trying, but it's so HARD when I am the ONLY person adulting in this house... I take care of my 82 yr old mom and have 2 boys who are 20 yrs old and can't help with the littlest things without being TOLD repeatedly or hiding phones and TV remote.. 😕 IF I DIDN'T HAVE JESUS, I DON'T EVEN WANT TO THINKHOW BAD IT COULD BE... I just have to remember, to let go and let God handle it 😊

It opens the door for the enemy . The complaining stops the Holy Spirit from doing what He wants to do in our life . To complain means to remain - until we learn how to be thankful.

Mishaps are what she read off. That's different from mistreatment. It's hard to stay quiet when you're constantly being mistreated and have no control to make it stop. 😢

I agree that we shouldn't complain excessively, but it's okay to express both positive and negative emotions to God. Refer to the book of Lamentations and also the Psalms, among others. In fact, we should voice all our feelings to the Lord. Remember that He is a God of emotions and we were made in his image.
