This is the Beatles. The most popular & most influential band in the history of music - period.

You have just witnessed one of the most iconic moments in music history. The last time the Beatles performed together in public, Jan 1969, London. More Beatles please, you won't regret it! Cheers

They are simply the best band ever and their music will live longer than any of us.

Please applaud for the keyboardist Billy Preston. he is a soul legend and played on Beatles "Let It Be" and "Abbey Road" albums

no autotune, no massive technology, just pure vocals, brilliant songwriting and musicianship. together recording for only 7 years, 13 albums over 250 songs recorded. mind blowing. and every album was different, let alone each song on their albums.

It always amazes me when I hear people say they've never heard of The Beatles who are universally recognized as the greatest band of all-time.

I am 71 now and remember going up with my Father and his friend to the roof of his workshop in Saville Row, Central London to watch this performance.
The Beatles Apple Office/Studio was at the end of the road, we would often see them coming and going. The whole street went up to rooftops, or were hanging out the windows, the road below became crowed quite quickly and everyone stopped looking up. Unfortunately the police intervened and stopped the performance. My Father had the presence of mind to take a few black and white pictures, which l have had

It breaks my heart when someone says they've ''heard of the Beatles.'' They are the biggest band of all-time in the entire world. They have and never will have any equals.

Just pure, raw talent. They can sing AND play instruments. Imagine that. We’ve lost something in today’s music.

This is my era, ladies. I'm 67. Grew up with the Beatles..I was 7 when the hit the states..Even at the age of 7 I felt the earth move from under me..That was the influence they had over here..That was Feb. of '64..In Nov. of '63 president Kennedy was assassinated..They came to this country at the exact moment we needed here..And then, on top of that, they turned out to be no flash in the pan..They just kept getting better and better, with every album..They produced 13 albums in 6 short years!..They wrote over 200 songs in that time! Pretty much not a dog in the bunch!..Even their crap (mostly) had something special about it..And because of them, everybody else brought their A game. It was a phenomenal time for music!..Much success to your channel, and enjoy the ride!..PS. I'm a male, and yes!..Bring back the romance!

This band is the GOAT! They were popular from late 1963 and broke up in 1970. They had 21 Number 1 hits, and 34 more songs reached the Top 10 on the charts, and get this…71 more reached the Top 40 on the charts in constant radio rotation.

The BeeGees were inspired by The Beatles! It’s the reason they started performing! And really, hundreds of bands were inspired by the Beatles coming on the scene in 1963. They changed music as we know it, and they created the first music video, they created Progressive rock, and the first Metal rock music, the first Punk rock music. They were hugely creative. All 4 members of this band could sing lead. 3 out of 4 were songwriters, and the 4th became a songwriter, too! So every song is different. Every album they recorded was better than the last. They recorded 14 albums and also did several feature films. All 4 went on to have very successful solo careers after the Beatles broke up. And they were offered MILLIONS OF DOLLARS to get back together, for just one concert…and then for just one song…PLEASE! Unfortunately, John Lennon who sang lead on this song was shot and killed by a deranged fan outside his New York City apartment in 1980. The entire WORLD was in mourning…it was a tragic loss! John had put this band together when they were all teens. The footage that you saw was the last live concert they ever did! They had their own recording label, called Apple Corps In London. They performed this concert on the rooftop of their studio! It literally stopped traffic on the street! 2 of the Beatles have passed on…John and George. Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are in their 80’s and still recording and touring. They have both been knighted by Queen Elizabeth. And they just put out the Beatles very last song that all 4 worked on with a music video, called Now and Then. It hit the charts….no surprise!

This is one of my favourites of theirs. Their music style is all over the map. They cannot be pigeon-holed into a genre. That's why we love them.

Once you start with the Beatles, you can go down one hell of a rabbit hole. You can listen to 50 of their songs, and the 51st one will still surprise you.

And with being the first song you've ever heard by The Beatles, you still have no idea of their music. The width and breadth of their musical range is enormous. If you keep going you will hear many, many songs that hardly even sound like the same band you heard doing "Don't Let Me Down." That's how diverse they were.

You know what, this is also the reaction when you play one of their amazing songs well, in front of people - these are the faces you see - smiling. Usually no talking - they really want to hear the song. A pleasure to watch, my friends! :)

Awesome reaction! The Beatles are much more than some great, influential band from the past. To this very day, The Beatles are the biggest selling music artist of all time, and nobody else even comes close (Do a quick google search and you'll see what I'm taking about). They have the most #1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 (with 20 #1 hits) and 35 overall top 10 hits, with their last song, "Now and Then" (which was just released 4 months ago on November 2, 2023) debuting at #7 on the billboard Hot 100, and peaking at #1 on the UK Spotify charts, knocking Taylor Swift down to the #2 position . You should definitely go down this rabbit hole and experience their greatness! They evolved quite a lot in the 8 years that they were a recording band, where they touched so many different styles and genres. I envy you, because I know the magic that is yet for you to discover. Enjoy the ride!
Peace

Welcome to loving the Beatles music. They packed in so much in the short time they remained as a band. Keep listening won't be disappointed.

Divine Beatles! <3 In about 7-8 years they released so much music and developed so much it would take lifetimes for most other bands to achieve.
