You can see the pure pain in Butchers eyes when he watches the video. It’s not just that his wife got raped that he’s emotionally broken with sadness and rage. But him seeing who raped his wife upsets him even more cause it’s the worlds most powerful superhero who can’t even physically be hurt no matter what earthly weapon you throw at him. So there’s nothing Butcher can do to him for raping Becca. If it was any other normal man Butcher would’ve easily killed him because Butcher can fight and kill any man. But this is Homelander Americas homemade Superman. It’s the best revenge story ever. The worlds toughest human VS the worlds most powerful superhero.

"I'm the person that can get you payback" whether she wants to admit it or not, she made Butcher into the vengeful supe hating maniac he is now. She saw the anger in him and used that to her advantage by getting him on her side against the supes.

Even though I’ve seen him plenty shaved in Star Trek, it still feels weird to see him beardless in this show.

Seriously what is wrong with people calling Becca a cheater when it was confirmed by the writers that it was rape and it was also rape in the comics. Rape cases can happen for 3 hours and she’ll obviously stay until Homelander lets her go because she didn’t want to die.

After the most recent season 4 premiere, this moment seems a bit retconned. Mallory literally brought Butcher into this, so her pushing him out so coldly feels like a bit of a weird choice.
