I really hope more people start speaking up about this. Not only can you not find anything your looking for but on the main page youtube is constantly videos that I've already watched. I'm tired of google as a whole. You can't find anything you actually want to see

This is what we get when 1 big company monopolize everything. They just change what they want without giving single F about what their users feel. because guess what? we have no options other than youtube. this tech monopoly sucks big time.

Trust me, youtube is much worse when you're on a phone. Yeah youtube is suppressing a lot. For instance, Google wallet sucks and it's impossible to find anything related to how they screwed up gpay, anymore...

Google is too big. they serve the corporations and their sales ads and products....AND CERTAIN NARRATIVES. If you are outside that and if you haven't GIVEN THEM A BIG BRIBE...you won't see your channel, ad, or even see quickly what you are searching for. Because they see you as a nobody. And its wrong and unfair.

Thank you so for bringing attention I kept searching for something specific based on the title of video but youtube recommending news or stuff I don't care about.

What I always end up doing when I search something I type my key words like "heat sink" or something. Then I go and sort by upload date and then again sort by relevance. This way it seems to get rid of all the "for you" and "people also watched" crap. Just very annoying two extra clicks and I fear the day will come when they'll patch it. However what I'd like them to patch is to change upload date filter labels. It says last hour, today, this week, this month etc. but what they really mean is last hour, last 24h, last 7 days, last 31 days (or something). I don't simple understand who did come up with those labels :D

i am totally agree. youtuube is showing up the videos that yotube thinks we want to watch it like peopoe also watched for or for you videos, most of them DONT MAKE SENSE. instead of doing the right way youtube was doing this bad worst and reccomending some of the 18+ and cringey videos, like uh youtube is bad bad bad! youtube in 2005 until 2015 are doing fine. but when 2020 into now yotube is trash. youtube has reccomensing the bigger channels instead of smaller channels that needed views subscribers and likes. yoitube is wrong of all the time since 2020.

I can search YouTube using the exact name of a video & the video never pops up.
After many frustrating attempts I've learned the only way to search YouTube is to do a video search using DuckDuckGo.
