I made your recipe for Thanksgiving 2024 and it was delicious. I chopped up some garlic and added it to it and it took it up a notch and made it spicy. Merry Christmas 2024 🎄🎄🎄

I look forward to giving this a try for xmas. Thank you for sharing! I just love the flavor combo of oranges and cranberries. I love the idea of adding xmas spices to it as well, the cardamom must be delicious with it! I am 🤤 at the thought!

I make a raw cranberry orange relish for thanksgiving (it even freezes well). 1 bag of cranberries, 2 oranges and up to 3 cups of sugar (Imuse about a cup but the original recipe called for 3 cups).quarter the oranges and remove any seeds you can find.place the oranges into a food processor and pulse (skin and all) until the skin of the orange are tiny little pieces and place in a large mixing bowl. Pour the washed (fresh or frozen) cranberries into the food processor, no need to wash from having used the oranges, and blitz until small pieces are formed. Pour the cranberry into the bowl with the oranges. Give a good mix, add a cup of sugar, mix well and allow to sit for 5 mins or so, mix again and taste.if it is too tart for you add more sugar (repeat the process stirring in 1/4-1/2 a cup of sugar, allowing it to rest a few minutes and stirring again before tasting, keep adjusting until the sweetness you like has been achieved). I place any left over into an ice cube tray to freeze, then place in a container. This is great over vanilla ice cream, over panacotta, on French toast or pancakes, or just as a little sweet/tart snack.
Thanks again for a delicious recipe that looks so straight forward. And I agree, popping it in a jar that can be used to serve from is just a cute idea as well as being useful, too! It is a wee bit early, but Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. 💖🙏

Can I use lemon instead of orange if I don’t have it?
