One of my favourite movies to watch in its original language is Das Boot, in German with English subs, for some reason it feels more authentic. I also love the Ghibli movies.

All LOTR movies came out in December. My wife makes us watch them as part of Christmas tradition now.

Also, speaking of Pearl Harbor… glad not everything that just happened to occur in December gets arbitrarily picked up as Christmas tradition.

Definitely get the Soska Sisters on. Maybe even for a VIP lounge? They're very big in the Independent horror world, made quite a few movies. American Mary is well worth checking out.

The Noomi Repace "i prefer playing originally-male characters" comment reminds me of Cate Blanchett in _Tár, _ whose character is basically a _famous guy getting me-too'd_ story just gender swapped last minute.

I love how Cate goes off-type and plays challenging roles. Like deadass Guillermo came to her with the _Pinocchio_ script asking "so we were thinking you could be great as either the Blue Fairy or one of the angels of death" and Cate was like "That's very well and good, but I'm actually here to audition as the circus monkey."
