My parents taught me from a young age that feeding chicken on the bone to dogs is dangerous because chicken bones are hollow, crack and splinter in the dog's throat when nawed on and can severely harm or kill them? Is that not true anymore? Or not as dangerous as we thought?

On another subject... some vets are cautioning about feeding liver in excess of 5-10% of the dogs' total intake for the day, due to it causing liver damage.☹️

I’d take the bone out because chicken bones are dangerous for dogs, they split and shatter easily which means it could get stuck in the dogs throat or it could cut them and cause harm that way.
