I don’t know about house plants but for veggies, you get a qtip and rub it on the pollen of the flower and then do that to the other flowers when they are open

So, mostly this is how, yes

When the flower is in its male stage, it will release the pollen. You can collect that and store it, like with foil in the freezer. A make up or paintbrush is a good way to collect it. When the other flower is in its female stage and the flowers are receptive (not exactly sure how to tell on alos but you can research that, sometimes there's like a little point that forms on it, or it's like, wet 😅) you just rub the pollen all up on it!
If both are ready at the same time, this is also fine lololol

No you have to take the pollen from the male spadix with a fine paint brush and brush it onto the lower inside sticky part (female) of the other spadix.

make sure the 2 plants are in the same plant family if they are then get a little brush find the stigma (the male sex cell of a plant) and press the brush on it so you get the pollen on then go to the other plant in this case the mother plant and find the stamen then press the brush on the stamen then let it grow get a seed from your new plant and plant it let it grow if you find it has minor changes find the part of the plant with the most changes to it get a seed from it and plant it keep doing this process till the plant has become completely new
