Once you know how to cross pollinate peppers, it's pretty easy to do with just a little bit of practice. In this video, I'll show you how I will tell you a little about the parts of a pepper flower, then I will show you step by step how I manually cross pollinate two peppers. There are several different techniques that you can use to cross pollinate peppers. In this video, I'll show you the way that I believe is the easiest. To begin with, you emasculate a pepper flower. Then you take pollen from a different pepper plant and transfer pollen to the emasculated flower. Let me know if you decide to give this a try once you've seen how to do it. Thanks for watching!

I garden in zone 6b, in the state Kansas. I would love to hear from you, so feel free to comment, make suggestions, ask a question, give tips, tell about your garden, or even offer constructive criticism.
Thanks for watching!

I did it!! Thank you so much for this video!! I cross pollinated a Carolina Reaper with a Dragons Breath pepper and now I have 3 little peppers starting on that plant. I've also crossed Carolina Reaper with Trinidad Scorpion Peppers and have 4 little peppers growing. Im excited to collect seeds from these and grow those. Thank you so much!

Good Morning - excellent demonstration as it appears to be a very delicate process finding the right stage of the flowers to cross pollinate. As a new gardener, I am very interested in new things and thanks so much for showing this process. Have a good weekend!

That sure is a very interesting and educational video. You must have a very steady hand and have a lot of patience to complete the task. I've tried pollinating squash and zucchini but never that precise. I'm glad you explained the F-1 and F-2. I wasn't sure how that works. Thanks for sharing this video with us. I wish you continued success with your pepper experiments.
Ms. Odapeno pepper plants are 8"-10" tall. And Ms Bundaberg tomato plants are about 2' tall . Both doing well. Thought you would like to know. Have a great weekend.
One female swallowtail butterfly spotted this week.🐛🐛🐛🐛🐛 Yeah.

That was fascinating. Going to nickname you "Dr. Pepper". Quite the surgery you perform :) Thanks for showing us how it's done.

Thanks for your dedication and for sharing your knowledge. Maybe I'll create the perfect new strain to me, with your good advices :)

Really nice demonstration. That diagonal straw trick is a good one, Eric Knight has a lot of useful tips like that. You can also cut one side and pinch them closed tighter.
