Hey there. As I make this series I’m going to find stuff to rework /improve on but one thing you will see in the future compared to here is I’m going to make a big note in the example runs with some is open to interpretation. For example on the example runs here, everything after the purchase or crossbow master is open for whatever you find fit next. Because I haven’t been doing this I think some people may be confused and think what I’m doing is mandatory.

Also I will be adding a section on types of maps the tower is good on.

If you have more impactful suggestions I would love to hear :)

Shoutout to this tier 5 for getting the least impactful buffs throughout it's lifetime and always getting powercrept with every new update

A very divisive tower as some people love it, while others hate it which can be said of any tower though with XBM it's more apparent. Really enjoying this series Chom Chom!

I used to always enjoy using Crossbow Master while saving up an expensive tower such as Bloon Crush or Moab Dom with it!
But now I’m more of a Robo Monkey and Tech Terror enjoyer since they both do Crossbow’s job a bit better into late game

Funny that you did that on peninsula, because wheel of chimps just gave me that run with Psi and middle druid. Xbow on peninsula is pretty fun

it's not the worst tower ever to exist but it's the worst 5th tier in the current version that isn't a farming tower in chimps

Sadly the Crossbow master reworked?? Like it isn't even all that much better. I like the xbow master a lot but it struggles with pierce. The primary training/expertise helps a little. I would love Quincy synergy though. That would be epic since Quincy is my favorite hero. For the most part though its a great mid game carry. I think the reason why people call it bad is because it can't deal with super ceramics and big moab which.... it doesn't have to. Not all towers need to be all powerful. It does its job well in being a mid game carry

I mean, 025 is better for single target, but xbm doesn't even have great single target in the first place. I think 205 giving TRIPLE pierce is better in situations where it can fire down straights against rounds with at least moderate density, whereas 025 doesn't even double its atk speed. There's always top-layer support.

im curious with these videos if u can show expert maps (including customs) where they shine that really demonstrates their strengths? i know its not possible with every tower but it would be cool to see when it is applicable

i thought xx4 crit like every 10 shots guaranteed and xx5 every 5 or something like that, not random?
