Truth and Reconciliation is about mending our relationships with the Indigenous people of this land, as well as working harder to accept and understand Indigenous ways of knowing.

As much as we may try to distance ourselves from the places and identities that created our city, Calgary and Calgarians are innately shaped by the land atop which we live.

As we make decisions toward the creation of stronger, safer, more sustainable communities, let's make sure to include the folks who excelled at it, for a lot longer than we've even been here.
