I feel like the enclosure and pool were too small and shallow for his size. Because crocodiles never stop growing when they age, their bodies can no longer support themselves on land. If the water was too shallow, they would die of suffocation due to gravity pressing against their lungs. This also happened to Lolong in the Philippines.

Welcome to Australia. It was so nice that you took the trip down under here to see him. Before you head back to the States you should see if you can schedule an appointment to see Tim Faulkner at the Australian Reptile Park. One of our other big Crocs is there at the park & there is also a large part of the park where there is alligators.

This makes me sad. Alligators and crocodiles weren’t on my warm fuzzy list of animals, even though I’m used to them from vacationing on Kiawah Island near Charleston, SC. They’re always sunbathing and lounging on the golf courses, eating people’s pet dogs that allow they to go outside unattended, and they eat your chicken bait when crabbing (we had a metaphorical pet alligator named Albert, who was slightly smaller than Sonni), who hung out in the lagoon right under our deck and Albert was rumored to have consumed someone’s pet Shitzu. Anyway, Corbin’s channel has taught me a lot and Sonni and his shenanigans has stolen my heart. RIP Cassius ♥️🐊♥️.
