The RC-135 continues to fly for the U.S. Air Force. It was one of the first planes over Baghdad during Desert Storm and is still used as an early warning and tactical direction platform.

I seen some of these aircraft when I was in the USAF back in the 1980s and 1990s. Good video.👍

I enjoyed your video very much. The Honeywell 757 (N757HW) is near and dear to my heart. I'm not sure where the specific data for the test engine pylon came from but it is not entirely accurate. The third engine pylon is designed for turboprop and turbofan engines up to engine weights of 4, 500 pounds and thrust ratings up to 12, 000 pounds (Engines flown: TFE731-40/-50/-60, TPE331-10/-14, HTF7000/7250/7350/7500). The internal fuselage structure of N757HW is designed for 16, 500 pound thrust engines. When not testing an engine, the pylon is capped and is not used for "aerodynamic testing". Besides engine testing the Honeywell 757 is used for avionics and airborne systems testing and demonstration (Special sensors, Wx radar, SATCOM systems, NAV & COMM systems)...a truly universal flying test bed.

#6 and #7 aren't correct; the YC-14 was the prototype to the C-17, and it did not replace the C-130. The RC-135 operated far longer than 1969. When I was stationed at RAF Mildenhall from 1999 - 2003, they were still flying and continue to fly today. I believe their home base is Offet AFB in Nebraska. Other than that good info. 👍
