Being aware of your surroundings while driving is key. At BMW, safety is at the core of our vehicles - that's why our BMW Head Up display makes doing exactly that easier. The display includes your current speed, the speed limit, navigation instructions, and more so you can keep your head up and eyes on the road.

To turn on the HUD display, access the ""Settings"" option in your BMW iDrive display, and follow the prompts for ""Head-up Display"". You can edit & change the displayed information, based on your preferred preferences.

Ok, what's it mean when you select settings but all those options aren't selectable? Like I see what you are showing on my screen. But I can't select anything. Brightness etc. Why?

I have an e60 525i (2009) from India. Does it have inbuilt welcome light or hole light. I think I have to do coding in order to active these two features.
